Continuing the visit in Bangkok, once done the city tour, the second day we booked an excursion in our hotel that was including the following visits:
– the floating market ¨Damnoen Saduak ¨
– a ride in Elephante in ¨Chang Puak Camp ¨
– a visit to¨Tiger Temple ¨
The excursion was beginning at 8.30am and a total price of 1000 baths + 600 baths for entry to the Tiger Temple that was not included. And  we were finished at 19:30h

The first stop that we did was the ride with elephants, it take long about 45 min.

The truth I was disappointed with this visit because it was a very short ride with the elephant and nothing more. We did not have possibility after the ride to take photos, or touch it, to feed him, etc. I recommend if you have a bit more of time go to Chai Mai that there are exclusive excursions with elephants where you can take a bath with the elephant and raises directly of the loin of the animal, without any saddle. Also near Bangkok  there are some nature reserve with the possibility of doing excursions with elephants, but for a complete day.

After the camp elephant, they took us to the floating market ¨Damnoen Saduak ¨ and we have like 1hour to give a walk. The price to raise yourself to one of the typical boats and to give a turn for the market was of 150 baths. We decide to give a turned by foot.

Once finished our visit to the floating market they led us to seeing the bridge on the famous River Kwai, which was constructed during the second world war by prisoners of the war. And this bridge is also known because a very famous movie so called ¨The bridge on the river Kwai ¨ of 1957.

We had time to rest a while, to look at shops (especially of jewels it was what was abounding), and see the Museum of Jeath’s war for approximately 40 baths.

After this, it was already lunch time so they took us to a restaurant where we could eat something and rest.

Tiger Temple:

Remember that you have to pay 600 baths for the entry to the temple and very importantly to be necessary to go with long trousers and a t-shirt that covers the shoulders, it is a temple Buddhist for which, if the procedure of gown are not fulfilled, they do not allow you the entry, they are very strict in this sense.

The temple is very big but it is in a very poor condition, indeed only they have a zone that is worth it that it is where you take the photos with the tigers, but the tigers are like drugged and most of them do not even move, it gives a bit of a sorrow to see them like that. The rest of the temple, there is almost nothing to see, any that another tiger baby, and other free animals like deers, porks, and thats all.

The part of the tigers you enter accompanied of a person who holds your hand and another person is doing the photos to you with the different tigers.

The truth is that makes a big impression being so near the tigers and in the end you cannot approach very much because it does not stop being a very dangerous animal. It is an experience that I recommend if you like these animals.

Finally, we finish the visit here in the Tiger Temple and we spend 3 hours to turnback to Bnagkok.

I would recommend this excursion if you dont have to much days, but you do not enjoy very much because you make everything very quick. If you have more days I recommend made a whole day visiting the elephants and another day for the floation market and the tigers.
